Stormwater

Overview
St. Anthony Falls Laboratory utilizes a uniquely thorough protocol for assessing stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs). Our protocol was developed through lab and field research and includes novel methods that provide accurate, reproducible, and cost-effective assessments of stormwater BMP performance, saving clients valuable time and money. Engineering services staff can conduct testing for all stormwater BMP devices including, but not limited to, those that operate on hydrodynamic, filtration, sedimentation, and biological processes.

Research Projects
The University of Minnesota, through contract with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, has developed an extensive manual that outlines and explains proper methodology for the assessment of stormwater best management practices (BMPs). Please click here for links to the manual and other valuable stormwater information from SAFL.
