Graduate Research Opportunities at SAFL in
Engineering, Environmental and Geophysical Fluid Mechanics
The St. Anthony Falls Laboratory is one of the world’s foremost institutions for environmental and geophysical fluid mechanics research. Our unique facilities house laboratories dedicated to basic and applied research for water and the environment. SAFL is proud to provide an interdisciplinary environment for its faculty and students from the U.S. and abroad. SAFL is also headquarters to the National Center for Earth-surface Dynamics (NCED), an NSF-funded Science & Technology Center with researchers and facilities around the country.
