Join the newly-formed Partnership for River Restoration and Science in the Upper Midwest (PRRSUM - pronounced "prism") at SAFL every second Tuesday at 4pm for presentations and discussions on important topics in river restoration and river research. Click here for info.
Graduate student Leonardo Chamorro was presented with this year's Silberman Fellowship Award for his academic and research excellence.
Graduate student Cristian Escauriaza has been named the 2008 Anderson Award recipient, while
Chandana Gangodagamage and Omar Abdul-Aziz have both been given Tsai Travel Awards for travel to conferences this spring. Edward Silberman, professor emeritus,
will receive the Charles W. Britzius Distinguished Engineer Award, given by the Minnesota Federation of Engineering, Science and Technology Societies. Click here to read more.
