2D Dynamic Pressure Measurement

Force measurement instrumentation and software developed and used at SAFL.

Often mean static pressures are measured using pressure taps connected to transducers via tubing. However, where dynamic pressures are important, such as very fast turbulent flows, flush mount transducers can be mounted and calibrated on surfaces to measure pressure fluctuations and relevant frequencies. The setup pictured can reliably take 40 kHz pressure data from nine transducers accurate to 0.00015 PSI.
