As a leading research facility, we find ourselves at the beginning of the 21st century facing a challenging but exciting world of rapid change. While maintaining our strength in more traditional areas of hydraulics, we are leading the expansion into newer areas (see Research). As always, we emphasize a balance between applied and basic research, and a commitment to the full scope of experimental, computational, field-based and theoretical approaches. It is SAFL's goal to meet the continued demands of science and industry and to enhance the skills of research and development personnel. |
