Parsons Laboratory for Environmental Science and Engineering, and holds a joint appointment in the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences. His research focus is on land-atmosphere interaction and boundary layer processes.

Marc Parlange, EPFL-ENAC-EFLUM
BIOGRAPHY:
Marc Parlange is Professor and Director of the Environmental Science and Technology Institute (ISTE) at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne in Switzerland. His research focus is on hydrology and environmental fluid mechanics.

Wolfgang Rodi, University of Karlsruhe
BIOGRAPHY:
Wolfgang Rodi is Professor Emeritus and former co-director of the Institute for Hydromechanics at the University of Karlsruhe. His research focus is on turbulent flows and modelling, and the application of calculation procedures to a wide range of engineering and environmental problems.
Robert Street, Stanford University
BIOGRAPHY:
Robert Street is the William Alden and Martha Campbell Professor Emeritus in the School of Engineering and Professor of Fluid Mechanics and Applied Mathematics in the Departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University. He has served as civil and environmental engineering department chair, associate dean of engineering, and vice provost and dean and vice president at Stanford University. His research focuses on the modeling of turbulence in fluid flows.
Deborah Swackhamer, University of Minnesota
BIOGRAPHY:
Deborah Swackhamer is Professor and Co-Director of the Water Resources Center in Environmental Health Sciences and Interim Director of the Institute on the Environment at the University of Minnesota. Her research interests focus on chemical and biological processes that control the fate of toxic organic contaminants in the aquatic environment, particularly bioaccumulation of persistent compounds in fish in the Great Lakes; the processes that control exposure to environmental estrogenic compounds; and the development of contaminant indicators of ecosystem health.
